The name
We first called it Looms.
We thought the problem was how to manage every thread of identity. Then we realised people did not need another machine to manage access.
They needed a door.
Read the founder storyPort is a messenger where people reach you by a Port ID — a short code you hand out, and close when you are done with it. Your phone number is how you sign in. It is not how you get found.
A phone number once pointed at a telephone in a room. One line, one house, one place you could be called.
Then it became your login. Your delivery contact. Your work identity. Your bank’s idea of who you are. A permanent route back to you that you handed to a food app in 2017 and can never take back.
The world changed. The primitive did not.
How it works
Create a Port for the person, the job, the listing, the moment.
Send the Port ID, or let them scan the QR code. No number changes hands.
Shut that door. The conversation ends. Everything else you have keeps working.
Your number never becomes the thing you hand out, so it never becomes the thing you regret handing out.
Superport
A Superport is one reusable Port. Put it in a bio, on a card, on a shopfront, and everyone who walks through it gets their own private connection — with you, never with each other. One door. No number.

Free, and customised to a name you choose.
A Superport never makes more Ports. It accepts more connections — and each one can be muted, blocked or closed on its own, without touching the door everyone else uses.
